Perimenopause is the transition leading up to menopause, when ovarian hormone production becomes more variable. Changes in periods, sleep, temperature regulation, mood, and focus can occur. Your experience deserves individual attention.
A functional medicine approach considers your health history, nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, and existing conditions together. Symptoms can have more than one contributor; an appropriate clinical evaluation helps avoid assuming every change is hormonal.
Your symptoms. Your history. Your whole health.
Hormone and cycle changes, hot flashes, and night sweats
Energy, sleep quality, stress, and mood
Metabolic health and body composition
Brain fog, concentration, and daily function
Gut health, digestion, and nutrition
Libido and vaginal comfort

You work directly with Dr. Talina Hermann in a private 1:1 relationship focused on perimenopause and midlife. Your history, symptoms, goals, lifestyle, and appropriate testing guide an individualized plan. Functional medicine explores contributing factors; personalized medicine adapts support to you; lifestyle medicine grounds the work in nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress support. Follow-up helps you put the plan into practice and refine it as your needs evolve.
-
Dr. Talina Hermann orders advanced labs when relevant to your individual assessment. Tests are selected to answer specific questions and inform recommendations. There is no routine test that establishes perimenopause for everyone; age, menstrual history, and symptoms matter. Testing supports the wider assessment rather than replacing it.
-
No. Hormone therapy (often called HRT) can help with symptoms such as hot flashes and vaginal dryness, but suitability depends on your health history, risks, preferences, and symptoms. Dr. Hermann works with a prescribing practitioner through a practitioner platform. That practitioner evaluates suitability and makes prescribing decisions. Lifestyle support remains part of the personalized approach whether or not HRT is appropriate.

After completing your chosen tier of 1:1 support, you have the option to transition into an ongoing maintenance membership. This provides a way to continue personalized support as your needs evolve. We’ll discuss whether membership is a good fit and review what’s included before you decide.
-
Choose from two 12-week 1:1 programs: Private Foundations ($3,500) for an individualized plan and structured follow-up, or Private Comprehensive ($5,500) for deeper consultations and more frequent follow-up. Both include all labs and supplements within your plan, plus HRT and peptides when indicated following evaluation by the prescribing practitioner. Enrollment does not guarantee a prescription. After either tier, you may choose a separate maintenance membership; its terms are reviewed before enrollment.
