Meet Dr. Talina Hermann.
Dr. Talina Hermann is a functional and integrative medicine practitioner, licensed and board-certified acupuncturist, and clinical herbalist who helps women in perimenopause and midlife restore energy, optimize hormones, improve metabolism, and feel like themselves again. Her approach is built around one clear belief: women do not need more vague wellness advice — they need real answers, advanced testing, and a strategy that treats the body as an interconnected system.
Dr. Hermann founded her practice to offer women a more informed, personalized, and clinically grounded path through midlife health.
Through a virtual precision medicine model, she helps high-achieving women in perimenopause and beyond understand what is happening in their bodies and what to do next — with clarity, strategy, and support. Her patients often arrive looking fine on the outside but privately dealing with fatigue, weight gain or metabolic resistance, mood shifts, anxiety, poor sleep, brain fog, low libido, digestive issues, and the unsettling feeling that their body has changed without warning.
She is not interested in one-size-fits-all plans or guesswork; she is interested in patterns, biomarkers, and personalized care that can help women move from depletion to resilience.
Women who work with her often report meaningful improvements in energy, hormonal balance, sleep, mood stability, metabolism, mental clarity, digestion, inflammation, and overall well-being, and many say they leave feeling informed, supported, and back in partnership with their bodies.
Dr. Hermann brings a uniquely comprehensive background to her work. She earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science, her Master’s Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine, and completed Functional Medicine Training at the Institute for Functional Medicine. That blend of Chinese Medicine, functional medicine, and integrative health gives her a perspective that is both clinically grounded and deeply human.
Her work sits at the intersection of women’s health, precision medicine, and midlife vitality — an area where many women quietly struggle but often don't get clear answers.
Dr. Hermann specializes in supporting women who want to better understand their bodies and take a more proactive approach to their health, especially during perimenopause and the years beyond when symptoms can ripple into daily life, confidence, and long-term wellness. Her message is simple: perimenopause is a transition worth understanding, and with the right data and support, it can become a turning point rather than a slow decline.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Talina enjoys spending time with her daughters and her doodles, hiking California coastal trails, going to the beach, and sharing al fresco dinners with family and friends. That sense of balance, beauty, and connection is reflected in how she cares for her patients: thoughtfully, personally, and with an eye toward the whole person.
